Jonathan Holdaway first became a financial adviser with Frizzells – now part of Liverpool Victoria, in 1992, and has worked with some other big names, such as Barclays and Nationwide during his long career in the UK.
He was one of the first to achieve Chartered Financial Planner status from the CII in 2005, which was in recognition of the high level of qualifications he had obtained. He is currently working towards becoming a Certified Financial Planner with the CISI, as well as a Registered Life Planner with the Kinder Institute.
He was Chairman of the Hants & Dorset branch of the Personal Finance Society for two terms and an active member of the committee for over 20 years. Up until recently he was a regular feature writer for the Olive Press newspaper.
Having served in both Royal Marines & Army Reserve forces, and an ex semi-professional rugby union player, he is very keen on keeping fit and healthy, and goes to Crossfit sessions 4-5 times per week, as well as continuing with his boxing, though no longer competitively. Having completed two ‘Tough Mudder’ events in the UK last year, his aim is to compete in the Marbella 70.3 half Ironman triathalon event in April 2020.
He is a keen supporter of forces charity Pilgrim Bandits amongst others.
In 2019 Jonathan moved to Spain with his wife Susie and their two dogs and is now giving high quality financial advice to clients around the world.
They have 4 children and three grandchildren between them all currently living in the UK.
